Installing Blender Render Queue

BRQ is available for download on Windows, macOS, and Linux.

First, you need to download BRQ from Gumroad or Blender Market.

Installing on Mac

Note

BRQ supports both Intel and Apple Silicon architectures on macOS. The installer is universal and works for both architectures.

Blender for macOS is distributed as disk images (dmg-files). To mount the disk image, double-click on the dmg-file. Then drag Blender render Queue.app into the Applications folder.

Depending on the Security and Privacy preferences of your Mac, macOS will request your approval before opening BRQ for the first time.

Warning

BRQ is made by a low budget unidentified (unknown by Apple) developper so macOS may prevent you from opening it. Please follow these steps to start BRQ.

Installing on Windows

The Windows installer will let you choose an installation folder, and will create an entry in the start menu.
It requires administrator rights.

Warning

BRQ is made by a low budget unknown (to Microsoft) publisher so Windows SmartScreen may prevent you from opening it. Please click on Run anyway to start BRQ.

Installing on Linux

Download the Linux version and decompress the file to the desired location (e.g. ~/software or /usr/local). BRQ can now be launched by double-clicking the executable.
