Privacy Policy

This page describes how *Blender Render Queue* collects, stores, and processes data
in compliance with the **RGPD (EU General Data Protection Regulation)**.

Overview
--------

Blender Render Queue only collects online data when you explicitly enable
**Remote Monitoring** and generate a **tracking link**.

If you do not use Remote Monitoring, **no data is sent or stored online**.

What Data Is Collected
----------------------

All collected data is **anonymous**.  
No email, name, photo, IP address, or other personal identifier is stored.

The application only uploads the following technical and render-related data:

* **Render progress information**  
  (current status, progress percentage, elapsed time, remaining time)
* **Application settings** related to remote tracking  
  (tracking token, app version, optional push-notification device token)
* **Render session information**, which include:
  - `.blend` files name  
  - Scenes name  
  - Cameras name  
  - View layers name  
  - Frame range and FPS  
* **Blender properties** (engine name, file format, output path...)

Important note on sensitive naming
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

While data is anonymous, some textual Blender content (such as the blend file name,
scene name, or camera name) may contain **client names, project names, or other
sensitive identifiers** if the user names their files this way.  
Users should be aware of this before enabling Remote Monitoring.

Data Use
--------

The online database is **private** and restricts access to users who hold a
**valid tracking token**.  
Only the data associated with that token can be accessed, and only by the person
who opens the remote monitoring link.

Data is **not sold**, **not shared**, and **not processed for analytics**.  
It is solely used to display render progress information back to the user through
the Remote Monitoring interface.

Storage Location
----------------

All online data is stored on **Google Firebase** in a **West Europe** database.  
Data never leaves the European Union.

Data Deletion
-------------

You may delete all your online data at any time.

* Deleting the **tracking link** inside the application immediately and permanently
  removes *all* associated online data.
* When Remote Monitoring is disabled, no new online data is generated.

No backup copies or historical archives of this tracking data are kept.

Legal Basis
-----------

Data is processed **only with your explicit consent**, given by enabling
Remote Monitoring and generating a tracking link.

You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting the tracking link.
