Select your Blender version

In order to work properly, BRQ needs to be linked to a Blender editor installed on your machine.

.. tip::
   At first start, BRQ will automatically detect and connect to your most recent Blender install.

If you want to link another Blender install, navigate to ``Settings panel (⚙) ‣ Blender ‣ Editor location``
Then click on ``BROWSE``, and choose the right Blender binary file.

.. warning::
   On Windows, be sure to point out to ``blender.exe`` and not ``blender-launcher.exe``.
   A typical path should look like ``C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender\blender.exe``.

.. warning::
   On Mac, be sure to navigate through the app package and select the binary file.
   A typical path should look like ``/Applications/Blender.app/Contents/MacOS/Blender``.
